Children
At Crinken we are seeking to teach children about the love God has for them, a love that is demonstrated in the sending of his son Jesus. To do this we run two mid week clubs and a Sunday Morning Children’s programme.
On Route
On Route is the first of our mid week clubs and is for children in 2nd and 3rd class. It meets on a Tuesday during term time in the church hall at 4.30pm and runs till 6pm.
On Route is high energy, where we play games, eat food and hear from God’s word. We have five fantastic leaders who are expert entertainers. On route is not for the faint hearted.
Signposts
Signpost is the second of our mid week clubs and is for children in 4th and 5th class. It meets on a Tuesday night during term time in the church hall from 6.30am till 8pm.
Signposts is sure to get the blood flowing. It is a full night of adventure, intrigue and explosive activities. At signposts your four tremendous leaders help you to study the Bible in an action packed environment. Be sure to leave your parents at the door for this outrageously action packed night.
Sunday Mornings
On a Sunday Morning we meet together to sing and pray, before breaking into our class/age groups to learn from the bible. We look at the life of Jesus, the letters of the apostles, Old Testament characters and writings. Take the time to talk to your child’s teacher to find out what they have been learning about and what you can do to be part of it.
There is also a crèche programme for the very young and an adults programme for the not so young that run parallel to the children’s programme. So you can leave your younger siblings in the capable hands of our crèche team and your parents in the church with our rector, Ed, and they are sure to be well looked after.
